I just want to give you this , not for discussion but just to illustrate where we are so that when I show you the work plan, youll have some idea of how jen & I developed the work plan which is the next page. As you can see, most of the systems that we have created so far deal with administrative items and only for deal with operational items. Now this next page deals with the work plan developed by Jen and i. Im handing this out, not for discussion on how were going to solve the individual items, but so that I can present a protocol for solving these items, after I get your approval. Please take a minute to look over the workplan and Ill describe how I would like to proceed. The items listed are more or less in order and come from the MRC book of instructions. The protocol that I would like to follow is to present an item from the list to the board at the each monthly meeting to get the go ahead to research possible solutions on the item with Jen myself Jean, and other MRCs. After gathering information on the possible solutions, I, along with jen, would like to then, present them to the other officers, the vice chairman, the treasurer, the clerk for review and then to select the best possible solutions after which I will bring them back to the board for final review and approval, prior to implementation. After that, Jen and I will implement the solution that you choose. Each month I would like to present one item for consideration and to report on the implementation of the item selected the previous month. What do you think? In reality, Jen & I can only solve down to about #12 by ourselves. Id like to get 1 through 11 done before we tackle the items #12 and the following #s After that, youll need to a full time volunteer coordinator, and a training officer. I dont really want to be the director, the volunteer coordinator, or the training officer. But for my contribution this year I can at least get the MRC down to the point that the next director, the volunteer coordinator, and the training officer have the tools ,systems, facilities, supplies and equipment to do their jobs after they get recruited. However, in order to get past # 12, either well all have to put much more effort into the recruitment, direction, and training of volunteers or well have to hire someone to do those jobs. But for now, lets all get through the H1N1 effort and have a little time to wind down before we tackle item # 12.
