the waterfront as the boats come and go in the
harbor. Visit the famous Black
Dog Tavern and gift shop. Walk on nature trails through the West Chop Woods
or out to Tashmoo Beach and watch the
fishermen on the dock. The bird life and the
sunsets are spectacular. The Annual Vineyard Haven Street Fair
is a must do. Everyone enjoys the Street
Fair. There's fun, games and shopping for the
whole family.
The Field Gallery, located in West Tisbury and featuring the works of Tom Maley, is just one example of the unique and renowned galleries on the Vineyard. Visit Gingerbread Cottage City in Oak Bluffs. Each house is a fanciful child's dream come true. You'll see pinks and periwinkle blues, lavenders with creamy whites, meadow greens and wildflowers. |
