How long does it take? = Changing the domain registration takes about 3 to 5 days to take effect. However, concurrently, ait can be setting uptheir partof it which only takes 6 hours

What's the procedure?=

1) I would get a copy of the domain information from http://betterwhois.com or Network Solutions' domain lookup

2) I would have the customer agree to change from his present host to aitcom.net. and agree to pay me with an automatic payment method via the domain's credit card.

3) I would verify that the email address on the domain information sheet is the same as the one the client is currently using. (This is for domain authentication process used by the domain registration company)

4)Then,if the registrationcompany is Network Solutions, I would follow the rules in 01networksolutionschgprocedure.doc

5)I contact Aitcom.net and tell them that I am changing the hostfrom ____________ to Aitcom.net and they contact Network Solutions for comfirmationthat change has been requested by the domain holder.

6) Aitcom.net creates a space for the domain files

7) I contact the domain holder to move the files from ______________ to the Aitcom.net space, via FTP .

8) I ask the domain holder, what email addresseshe wants

9) I create the pop email accounts for the domain holder
